Course Overview

This online course provides you with an understanding of risk management which will help you to successfully manage an organisation’s risks and make you more knowledgeable on the topic. You will get to know the basic building blocks of risk management following the approach set out in the international standard ISO 31000 and best practice.

Course Content

Introduction to Risk Management – covering topics such as ‘What is Risk’, ‘What is Risk Management’ and the benefits from having an effective risk management process.

Risk Management Process – taking a detailed look at the ‘nuts & bolts’ of risk management based on ISO 31000 and covering the fundamental steps in the risk management process.

Other Risk Management Topics – those which can impact on successful risk management including ‘Risk Culture’, Risk Resilience’ and Insurance.
