About Us

Boyd Associates specialises in the delivery of governance training.  Boyd Associates was established in 2006 by Gene Boyd and is based in Dublin. 

Our aim is to provide organisations with the training support to help meet their governance requirements with a particular focus on risk management.  Training courses are delivered online and are low-cost, comprehensive and provide a good understanding of the essential elements.  

Standard training courses include Essential Risk Management in 90 Minutes and Essential Fraud Prevention in 90 Minutes while bespoke courses tailored to an organisation’s needs can also be presented.

Gene Boyd

Gene Boyd is a chartered accountant and an accredited trainer, regularly delivering courses in Ireland on governance-related topics.  He is a graduate member of the Institute of Risk Management and has worked in a variety of senior management roles with international exposure, principally in the pharmaceutical industry as well as providing consultancy services to diverse small and medium businesses in Ireland.  

Gene has developed an expertise in Governance through work in internal audit, risk management and compliance as well as being chair of a county council audit committee and a member of the audit committee of a government department.

Our Courses

We provide online risk management training courses which are easy to follow, comprehensive and at a low-cost (only €65) and delivered at a time that suits you.  Whether it’s Essential Risk Management in 90 Minutes or Essential Fraud Prevention in 90 Minutes, participants in these courses will gain a good understanding of the topic which will increase their knowledge and enable them to engage actively in the risk management or fraud prevention processes in their organisations.
